About Libbo

Libbo Morgan lives in Destin, Florida with her husband Eddie, their three children Mary Jane, Pearce and William and their dog Bruno.

Libbo was born in Tuscaloosa, Al where she received a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in painting from the University of Alabama. Life in Alabama and Florida, as well as time spent off the coast of Georgia and roaming Montana, influence much of Libbo’s work. Libbo mostly works in watercolor and acrylics but also has works in gauche and mixed media. Her style can be characterized as contemporary impressionist; rather than simply “painting a photograph,” she strives to capture the essence of her subject using color and light.
